Hello everyone,

This week I’m stoked to share a bit of my own writing/thoughts with you. It’s a quick episode and I hope you enjoy it. The topic is one that is dear to my heart: So often when we hit a plateau in an endeavor, we feel like it must be time to give up. It feels like a signal of failure or boredom or a lack of growth.

But since yoga is as much about the mind as it is about the body, I feel that a plateau is really a golden opportunity to deepen your practice. Give it a listen and please let me know what you think!

  2. Thank you Andrea. The word “PLATEAU” immediately caught me. Some years back one of my mysore teacher brought this word to me when I experienced deep deep plateau in one of my poses. I recalled those painful times, both mentally and physically. Still I brought myself to the mat everyday without fail. I began to feel peace within whenever that plateau pose arrived. Before I can even remember, one day this plateau was behind me. I know this is certainly not the last one. The plateau simply makes my mind and body stronger. I love your podcast, thank you for sharing.
