Sharing My Story

Today’s fast-paced, social media-driven world can sometimes make it feel like we have to get our message across in 15 seconds (or 140 characters) or less. But recently, Yogaglo commissioned some videos of its teachers and I had the great fortune of having an amazing, leisurely conversation with the talented videographer Jonathan Pears. The result is this seven minute video, which I feel captures who I am perfectly. Thanks, Jon (his company is called Back to Awake) & Yogaglo! I love being part of your family.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.

    1. Hi Jason;
      thank you for your refreshing authenticity.
      One of my main interest in practicing and teaching yoga is getting to that place where you feel at ease in your own skin. I must say listening to you speak about your life, your practice & your teaching clearly exemplifies that you embody this and it is a gift to share. Thank you! I look forward to seeing you in McCall at Shanti Yoga this July. I have a studio in Moscow, Nourish Yoga, and will be coming down for your workshop. I attended several of your workshops last year at Urban Flow when I was in the Bay Area.

  2. Dear Jason, what a heartfelt and inspiring message. You are so eloquent, no wonder you are such an amazing teacher. Thank you for being you!

  3. Thank you Jason, great video, and thank you for sharing your honest, yet accessible story. I miss your teachings as I no longer subscribe to YogaGlo, but this video reminded me of how much I miss your teachings and guidance.

  4. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your comments about doing simple asana well, and using the asana to understand the body.
    Namaste
